About us

Intercultural Consultancy and Studies – INCCAS – was founded in 2000 as a consultancy and study organisation by Karin and Ludger Pries in Bergisch Gladbach, and today has its office in Bochum. 10 years of practical experience, in the fields of development and international university cooperation – especially in Mexico and other Latin American countries - preceded the firm’s founding.

Against the backdrop of these personal experiences and INCCAS’ “organisational learning” our firm philosophy evolved:

In an increasingly complex and globalised world borders constantly have to be crossed:

	the borders of professional group logic and departmental thinking regarding efficient cooperation within organisations
	the borders of an organisation’s horizon when cooperating with other organisations and its members,
	the borders of everyday worlds and national cultures when cooperating across national and cultural borders.

We support you in successfully overcoming such borders and in making this process an asset to your organization. We help develop your organisation’s reaction time, innovative ability, cooperation ability and sustainability.

Legally our activities are divided into two firms: the consultancy firm INCCAS is a civil-law partnership. The individual firm INCCAS-Service is responsible for web design and virtual applications maintenance.
